Fitter/Welder - 1st Shift
Industrial Fitter Welder Pay: $24.50/hour

Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM and Half Day on Saturday (58 Hours Per Week) Overview We are hiring experienced Welder/Fitters for a high-production manufacturing facility working with large structural steel components. Weld Test: 1G plate test Double bevel ½ inch thick. 1/16th metal core wire, visual if that passes we send it out for X-Ray and bend. Responsibilities Fit and weld structural steel components according to blueprints and specifications Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and shop drawings Lay out, position, and assemble heavy steel parts for welding Perform welding on thick materials in a production environment Ensure proper fit-up, alignment, and weld quality Inspect finished work to meet quality standards Maintain a safe and organized work area Qualifications 1 year of welding experience required Previous Welder/Fitter experience required Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols Experience with structural or heavy gauge steel preferred Metal Core (MCAW) experience is a plus, but not required
