Industrial Material Handler / Inventory Control Pay: $19–23/hour

Hours:
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM A growing manufacturer is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Material Handler – Inventory Control professional to join a clean, climate-controlled sheet metal fabrication and assembly facility. This position plays a key role in ensuring materials are accurately received, tracked, stored, and delivered throughout the production process. Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials using handheld scan gun technology
- Stock and transfer materials to designated locations throughout the facility
- Pick parts and stage materials for production and shipping
- Safely load and unload trucks and trailers
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts
- Identify and help resolve inventory discrepancies
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
- Work closely with production and warehouse teams to support workflow
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a warehouse, inventory control, or manufacturing environment
- Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and handheld scan guns
- Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy
- Forklift experience preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
