Subarc Welder

Industrial Subarc Welder Starting Pay: $27.00/hr Earn $29.00/hr After 90 Days! Performance Pay Increase Opportunity:
We reward quality work. Welders who successfully complete their first 90 days, maintain excellent attendance, and consistently produce high-quality welds with little to no rework are eligible for an increase to $29.00/hr best of all, you'll receive retroactive pay for every hour worked during your first 90 days at the higher rate. Day Shift - Monday-Thursday - 6:00am-4:30pm, Overtime available on Fridays and Saturdays

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Subarc Welders to join our manufacturing team. This position involves welding heavy industrial components using Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) while producing high-quality welds that meet API 1104 and ASME Section IX standards. Candidates should have strong attention to detail and take pride in producing welds that consistently pass inspection.

Responsibilities
  • Perform Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) on heavy industrial components.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings.
  • Prepare materials and verify proper fit-up before welding.
  • Produce welds that meet API 1104 and ASME Section IX quality requirements.
  • Inspect completed welds for quality and make repairs when necessary.
  • Operate welding equipment safely while maintaining production standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and quality expectations.
Qualifications

Previous Subarc (SAW) welding experience required. Experience welding to API 1104 and/or ASME Section IX standards preferred. Ability to pass the required weld test. Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality welds. Reliable attendance and positive work ethic.
