Industrial Blaster

Tulsa, Oklahoma Contract To Hire Feb 27, 2026
Industrial Blasters Pay: $16–$22/hr (Based on Experience) (will train on 1st shift for 2 weeks)
Position Overview:
The Industrial Blaster prepares metal surfaces for painting using grit or sandblasting equipment in a controlled environment. This role ensures surfaces are clean and properly prepared for coatings, following all safety and quality standards.
You must be able to:
- Work on your feet for extended periods
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Operate safely in an industrial environment
Essential Job Functions:
- Prepare large industrial surfaces using sand/grit blasting equipment
- Clean, smooth, and prep surfaces for paint
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
- Inspect equipment and materials for defects or issues
Competencies:
- Material Handling:
Moving, positioning, and preparing materials - Inspection:
Checking surfaces, equipment, and tools - Physical Work:
Climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, and performing physically demanding tasks
Requirements:
- Previous experience in industrial blasting or painting
- Knowledge of basic production and project procedures
Schedule:
Night Shift: 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM, Monday–Thursday Overtime available on Friday & Saturday as needed
