2nd Shift Welder (MIG/Fluxcore/TIG) – Climate Controlled Facility

Location:

Tulsa, OK
Pay: $22 – $26 per hour
Shift: 2nd Shift | 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM

Hire Call is seeking experienced Welders for a great Tulsa manufacturing company with a clean, climate-controlled facility. This is an excellent opportunity for welders with 1–3 years of experience who are looking to grow their skills in a stable, team-oriented environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, Fluxcore, and TIG welding on metal components according to specifications

• Read and interpret weld symbols, blueprints, and work instructions

• Set up and adjust welding equipment, including voltage and amperage settings

• Inspect finished welds to ensure quality and structural integrity

• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all safety policies and procedures

• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals

Weld Test Requirements

Candidates must complete a weld test that includes:

• Written portion:
  Weld symbols and shop math (including fractions)

• Practical test: 3G MIG/Fluxcore weld with backer plate

Required Qualifications

• 1–3 years of on-the-job welding experience

• Experience with MIG, TIG, and Fluxcore welding

• Ability to pass a MIG/Fluxcore weld test

• Basic shop math skills including fractions

• Understanding of voltage and amperage adjustments for welding equipment

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

• Ability to pass a background check

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs

• Must be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods (8+ hours)

• Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, and stooping

• Ability to work at elevated heights from ladders, scaffolding, or aerial platforms

• Ability to work in varying temperatures when required

• Willingness to work overtime as needed
