Press Operator

Location: Tulsa, OK
Shift: Monday–Friday, typically 6:00/7:00 AM–3:30/4:00 PM; occasional Saturdays
Pay: $16–$18+/hour, DOE

Blue Worx Staffing is looking for a Press Operator to join a precision manufacturing operation in the Tulsa area. This position focuses on forming sheet metal components using press equipment and established forming techniques while working from engineering drawings and specifications.

• Operate hydro presses and applicable forming equipment
• Perform basic and complex sheet metal forming operations
• Use check-and-straighten techniques to achieve required dimensions
• Read and follow blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions
• Use calipers and other measuring equipment to verify dimensions
• Inspect formed components to ensure they meet quality requirements
• Maintain quality and workmanship standards throughout the forming process
• Follow established manufacturing and safety procedures

• Previous sheet metal forming, fabrication, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Hydro press experience is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
• Ability to accurately use calipers and other measuring equipment
• Basic math and mechanical skills
• Dependable, safety-conscious, and quality-focused
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Willingness to learn new equipment, processes, and responsibilities

Pay is negotiable based on experience and skill level.
