Our Client is looking for a Wire Bending CNC Machine Operator who will be responsible for setting up, programming, operating, and maintaining CNC wire bending equipment to produce quality wire-form products according to customer specifications and engineering drawings. This position ensures production goals, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met while minimizing waste and downtime.
Schedule: Monday - Friday from 7am - 4pm (OT as required)
Pay: $18 - $23 depending on experience
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC wire bending machines to manufacture wire forms and components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work orders
- Load wire material and tooling according to setup requirements.
- Make machine adjustments to ensure products meet dimensional and quality standards.
- Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and templates.
- Monitor machine performance and production output throughout the shift.
- Troubleshoot equipment, tooling, and programming issues to reduce downtime.
- Maintain accurate production, quality, and downtime records.
- Manufacturing production facility.
- Exposure to machinery, wire products, lubricants, and industrial equipment.
- Required use of safety glasses, hearing protection, and other PPE as needed.
- Experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of measuring tools and inspection techniques.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with CNC wire bending equipment.
- Knowledge of CNC programming and editing
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Frequent reaching, bending, twisting, and handling of materials.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, moving machinery, and varying temperatures.
