About Goggle Works:

Goggle Works Center for the Arts is a dynamic community arts hub in Reading, PA, dedicated to fostering creativity, education, and artistic expression. Our Marketing & Communications team plays a vital role in sharing the stories behind our exhibitions, events, and educational programs with the community.

About the Internship:

This internship is an opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in arts marketing while learning the inner workings of a creative department at a leading art center. As a Marketing Intern, you will shadow and collaborate with our Marketing Director, Social Media & Marketing Coordinator, and Graphic Designer to develop and execute creative campaigns, promote events, and engage with audiences across multiple channels.

What You Will Gain:

    Work alongside industry professionals in a creative, fast‑paced arts environment.
  • Social Media & Content Creation:Learn best practices for social media marketing, assist with content planning, and contribute to digital storytelling.
  • Branding & Graphic Design Exposure:Observe the graphic design process, contribute to brand consistency, and gain insight into design tools and strategies.
  • Event Promotion:Assist in the marketing efforts for major events like gallery exhibitions, workshops, and community art initiatives.
  • Collaboration & Professional Development:Gain experience working in a team setting, receiving feedback, and executing marketing strategies from concept to implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions for campaigns and events
  • Assist in filming content
  • Conduct research on trends in arts marketing and audience engagement
  • Assist in administrative tasks related to marketing and outreach
  • Assist at events around campus
  • Other tasks as assigned

Who Should Apply?

We are looking for a creative, motivated, and out‑of‑the‑box thinking individual with a passion for marketing and the arts. Ideal candidates should:

  • Be currently enrolled in a college or university program in marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related field
  • Have strong communication and organizational skills
  • Be eager to learn and take initiative in a team environment
  • Have basic knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, etc.)
  • Some experience with graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) is a plus but not required

Internship Duration &

Schedule:

  • Flexible schedule (to be agreed upon with supervisor)
  • Internship duration:
    Summer (8-10 weeks) | at least 10 hours a week
  • On‑site at Goggle Works Center for the Arts
