This position is primarily responsible for preparing documents, proposals, presentations, CRM, pipeline and various media products using effective design and marketing practices, criteria, and principles for internal and external communications to serve the company’s interests, including the company’s presence at various industry conferences, seminars, trade shows, etc. by performing the essential duties described herein.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Develops, designs, and drafts internal and external communications such as proposals, newsletters, brochures, website design and modifications.
  • Conducts internet and intranet research and communications.
  • Skillfully writes and edits text, lays out graphics in concept and draft formats, prepares draft versions of MS PowerPoint presentations, MS Publisher documents, Adobe forms and designs, reports, marketing materials.
  • Communicates by phone and in person with Universal personnel, contractors, and clients under direction and in coordination with Universal executive staff and regional management.
  • For proposals and other responses to solicitations from potential clients, tracks opportunities, gathers needed information for responses, organizes and maintains files, drafts responses, oversees final preparation, and follows up as needed to evaluate results.
  • Other marketing related duties include researching media exposure opportunities such as writing articles, online social media, issuing “press release” information, gathering internal news items, and assisting in exploiting such opportunities for company benefit.
  • Plans and executes marketing efforts related to Company’s presence at various industry conferences, seminars, trade shows, etc.
  • Ability and flexibility to work in cooperation with all those assigned to the office.
