Job Description

The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for defining and owning the market-facing strategy for assigned products. This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, marketing, sales enablement and compliance, ensuring products are positioned clearly, differentiated effectively and launched with discipline.

The Product Marketing Manager translates product capabilities into compelling narratives that power acquisition, cross-sell and seasonal initiatives, while ensuring organizational readiness at launch.

This role does not own demand generation targets, channel or media strategy, onboarding journeys or retention triggers.

How You'll Spend Your Time
  • You will define product positioning, value propositions, and target client segments, including who the product is and is not designed for.
  • You will act as the voice of the market by combining client, banker, and competitive insights to shape differentiation.
  • You will translate product capabilities into clear, compliant, and consistent client-facing messaging across touchpoints.
  • You will partner across teams to develop and execute product launch strategies.
  • You will support launch readiness by aligning pricing, disclosures, training materials, FAQs, and frontline adoption.
  • You will create messaging frameworks and toolkits to ensure consistency across campaigns and channels.
  • You will provide ongoing support by managing product communications, maintaining message integrity, and coordinating approvals as products evolve.
Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in product marketing, product strategy, or related marketing roles; prior experience within financial services, banking, or other regulated industries preferred; and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Ability to synthesize voice-of-client, banker feedback and competitive insights into clear positioning and differentiators
  • Strong project management and launch discipline (timelines, dependencies, and readiness across pricing, disclosures and training inputs)
  • Comfort writing and editing market-facing messaging in a regulated environment and navigating review/approval processes with Compliance and Legal
  • Experience building go-to-market toolkits and enablement assets (FAQs, talking points, messaging frameworks) to drive consistent adoption
  • High attention to detail and ability to prioritize across multiple products, stakeholders, and concurrent launches
  • Strong cross-functional partnership skills across product, compliance, operations & sales
  • Ability to drive clarity, consistency and organizational readiness through aligned positioning and launch materials (not measured by demand generation or campaign performance)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with executive and frontline audiences
