Position OverviewThe Marketing Communications (Mar Com) Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, developing, and executing marketing initiatives that support sales growth, customer engagement, and brand awareness across the United States and Canada. This role serves as a key liaison between sales, product management, customers, external vendors, and corporate marketing resources.
The Mar Com Coordinator manages marketing communications, trade shows, customer events, digital content, social media, sales support materials, market intelligence, reporting, and branding activities while ensuring alignment with corporate brand standards. The position combines marketing execution, project coordination, business analytics, and sales support responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities Marketing Communications & Content Management- Coordinate the development, production, and distribution of marketing materials, including brochures, product literature, instruction manuals, presentations, videos, email campaigns, and digital content.
- Assist in developing and editing marketing communications that support product launches, sales initiatives, and customer engagement activities.
- Maintain brand consistency across all marketing materials and communications.
- Support website updates, content uploads, and digital asset management.
- Manage and create content for social media platforms and other digital marketing channels.
- Coordinate company participation in trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, and industry events.
- Manage booth logistics, promotional materials, vendor relationships, and event schedules.
- Organize customer seminars, training programs, webinars, and sales meetings.
- Coordinate event communications, registrations, attendee tracking, and follow-up activities.
- Support the sales team with marketing materials, customer presentations, promotional campaigns, and lead‑generation activities.
- Coordinate customer communications and follow‑up activities as needed.
- Assist with promotional item selection, customer gifts, and branded merchandise programs.
- Support sales initiatives through effective organization and project coordination.
- Collect, organize, and maintain data from CRM systems, marketing platforms, and internal databases.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance scorecards.
- Analyze sales trends, lead conversion data, campaign results, and market activity.
- Conduct market research and monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, product launches, and industry developments.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, automation, and operational efficiency.
- Maintain marketing calendars, project schedules, and departmental documentation.
- Organize digital files, shared folders, marketing assets, and project records.
- Monitor marketing expenditures and assist with budget tracking.
- Coordinate activities with internal stakeholders, suppliers, agencies, and external partners.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of marketing, communications, sales support, or related experience preferred.
- Experience coordinating projects, events, or marketing campaigns is highly desirable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications.
- Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce, Hub Spot, or equivalent platforms.
