Are you a dynamic and creative individual with a passion for public relations and community engagement? We have an exciting opportunity for you! Under general direction perform administrative and public relations work in coordinating and presenting information, training, promotional programs, and media releases for Manpower at the City of Tulsa Animal Welfare department.
Essential Tasks- Develop and manage public relations and information programs
- Design and produce publications, media releases, and promotional materials
- Promote community awareness and education about department programs
- Create brochures, flyers, posters, and audio/visual materials
- Prepare and present reports; maintain computerized database information
- Plan and design annual reports and other documents
- Conduct research and publicize departmental activities
- Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience in public relations or a related field
- Strong knowledge of public relations, journalism practices, and communication media
- Ability to develop comprehensive public relations programs and influence behaviors to achieve objectives
