The Spring is growing and is currently seeking a Children's & Youth Coordinator that has previous experience working with children in a professional setting.
The Spring is a faith-based service provider, shelter, and advocacy organization for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and human trafficking.
The Spring is seeking a dedicated Children's & Youth Coordinator to join our team. This vital role ensures high-quality, trauma-informed programming for children and youth across all our direct-service programs, bridging the gap between internal needs and community resources.
Key Responsibilities- Program Coordination
:
Create and manage a robust calendar of activities, groups, and special events for youth. - Resource Advocacy
:
Build a comprehensive repository of community resources and act as the primary liaison for external partners. - Liaison & Relationship Management
:
Serve as the official point of contact for local schools and the Department of Human Services (DHS). - Collaboration
:
Oversee volunteers and childcare staff to maintain safety and quality standards; work with school partners on proactive programming. - Compliance & Safety
:
Maintain systems for youth safety plans, needs assessments, and unified programming standards.
- Experience
: 1+ year in childhood program development or working directly with children - Education
:
High School Diploma required;
Bachelor's in Child Development or related field preferred - Core Skills
:
Deep commitment to trauma-informed care and child safety; strong organizational and communication skills - Requirements
:
Valid driver's license and ability to sign The Spring's Statement of Faith - Technical
:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
