Freedom Life Church of God is prayerfully seeking a Youth & Young Adult Leader who has a heart for the next generation and a passion for seeing young people grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
We are a small but growing congregation, and this position offers a unique opportunity to help shape, build, and influence the spiritual future of our church and community. While our group size may be modest, the impact of this role is significant and deeply valued.
About the RoleThis leader will serve as a key part of our ministry team, helping to disciple, encourage, and connect youth and young adults to Christ and to the life of the church. The position allows room for creativity, relationship-building, and long-term ministry development.
Key Responsibilities- Build Christ-centered relationships with youth and young adults
- Lead or facilitate youth and/or young adult small groups
- Provide biblical teaching, mentorship, and spiritual guidance
- Help create a welcoming, safe, and spiritually engaging environment
- Partner with the Pastor and leadership in church life and vision
- Encourage involvement in worship, outreach, and church events
- A genuine, growing relationship with Jesus Christ
- A heart for youth and young adults and a desire to disciple them
- Ability to relate to young people with wisdom, grace, and integrity
- Reliability, teachability, and a servant’s heart
- Church of God background is a plus, but not required
- Stipend available
- Flexible structure, ideal for bi-vocational ministry or ministry development
