Position Overview

Are you a relationship-driven fundraiser who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment? Repair the World is seeking an experienced frontline fundraiser to serve as Development Director for our Boston and Miami communities.

In this role, you will lead all fundraising efforts across both markets, managing a portfolio of individual donors, foundations, federations, and corporate partners while actively identifying and securing new philanthropic investment. You will serve as the primary development presence in two of Repair’s most dynamic communities, partnering closely with local Repair the World staff and lay leaders.

As part of a national seven-person development team, you will be supported by centralized infrastructure, including grant writing, prospect research, database management, and development operations. This structure enables you to focus primarily on frontline fundraising and donor engagement. You will collaborate regularly with senior leadership, the C‑suite, and members of the board of directors, and serve as the primary staff partner to the Boston and Miami chairs of the Solel Collective, Repair’s major giving initiative for donors contributing $10,000 or more annually.

This full‑time, exempt position reports to the Senior Director of Development.

Boston represents a significant opportunity for growth, with a strong and expansive Jewish philanthropic community. Given this potential, candidates must be located in Boston; candidates outside this area will not be considered. Travel approximately once per month, especially to Miami, will be required to cultivate and steward donor relationships.
