About Us
Osage Hills Christian Church is a multi-generational, dynamic, and growing church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We are passionate about Connecting Christ to where we live. We currently average about 120 attendees per Sunday with a strong children’s and youth program. With a newly renovated main building, a refreshed website, and a new Senior Minister, we believe God is leading us into a season for greater impact in our local community.
If you desire to be on the front end of God’s work in the Tulsa area and have a passion for Children’s ministry—we want to hear from you! We are hiring a part-time Children’s Director. Salary range: 20-25K annually.
OHCC is part of the Independent Christian Churches. As such, we are an elder-led congregation committed to taking the Bible seriously and restoring the New Testament church in a modern context.
Schedule Requirements- Sunday mornings (Connect Groups and Children’s Service).
- Wednesday evenings (JAM).
- Regular events such as VBS, summer camps, Easter egg hunt, fall festival, etc.
- Flexible office hours and staff meetings.
- Minimum of 20 hours per week.
- Plan and organize all activities and events for birth through elementary‑aged children.
- Work with the Senior Minister to choose and prepare appropriate, biblically‑sound curriculum.
- Maintain fun and dynamic environments for each age level.
- Ensure safety and protection policies are followed.
- Recruit, train, schedule, and retain volunteers.
- Partner with parents in their child’s spiritual growth.
- Participate in church‑wide events and initiatives.
- Maintain a flexible, team‑oriented attitude, in alignment with the overall vision of OHCC.
- Willingness to teach within the doctrine of the Independent Christian Churches.
- A growing relationship with Jesus and passion for children’s ministry.
- Energetic, engaging, and highly relational.
- Strong communicator and organized self‑starter.
- Ability to lead and motivate volunteers while maintaining a team‑oriented and positive attitude.
- Prior experience preferred in areas related to teaching, working with children, and leading volunteers.
Must pass a background check and follow all child safety policies.
