Job Summary:
Pause4
Paws is seeking a Case Manager to help with our day-to-day operations. The Case manager’s main responsibility is providing kind and non-judgmental assistance to pet owners, referral agencies, and foster families. The Case manager’s other responsibilities include ensuring safety of both pets and fosters, documenting all interactions with foster families and pet owners, staying up to date on all cases, providing data as needed, and working as a team to effectively help the community we serve.
Schedule:
Full-time, expected 40 hours, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with occasional weekend hours or evenings as needed. Position is primarily based in office and traveling around the greater Tulsa area.
Position SpecificDuties and Responsibilities:
- External communication: scheduling appointments, outreach, follow ups, etc.
- Interacting with animals, including transporting them
- Taking calls and reviewing applications for completeness, program eligibility, and fit
- Detailed documentation
- Are caring, compassionate and want to help people and their animals during times of need
- Are skilled in professional and compassionate external communication
- Have high attention to detail and are good at managing competing priorities
- Possess good time management skills and require limited supervision
- Capable of wearing many hats and happy to help where needed
Experience:
- Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and current insurance
- Reside in Tulsa area
- High school graduate or GED equivalent
- Passion for helping animals and people in need
- Experience working with or around animals
- Experience with professional external communication
- Ability to work as a team member with minimal day-to-day supervision
- Basic knowledge of HIPPA laws
- Ability to prioritize in high-stress situations
- Commitment to Pause4
Paws mission - Able to lift minimum 35 pounds, the job is fairly physical
- Strong intrapersonal skills to maintain foster relations

Salary Range: $37,000-$42,000
