Get to Know Your Team:
* Tulsa Spine & Specialty Hospital (specializes in surgical services, diagnostic imaging and pain management, offering state-of-the-art MRI, computed tomography and myelography technology.
* The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
* S/He is responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care for medical/surgical patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards.
* S/He collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
* S/He serves in a resource role when oriented and as directed.
* S/He supports the organization's vision and mission.
* S/He utilizes knowledge of patient age and cultural diversity into the provision of patient care.
* S/He contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.
Job Requirements:
* Associates in nursing (ADN) or Diploma RN from an accredited school of nursing.
* Current RN License or Compact License deemed by the OK State Board of Nursing.
* BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
* Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 60 days of hire.
* Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of hire.
Preferred
Job Requirements:
* Bachelor's in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing.
* 2 years PACU/ICU experience preferred.
