The Registered Nurse at ATOKA COUNTY Medical Center is responsible for providing high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs. The role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver optimal health services, ensuring patient safety, and promoting wellness within the community.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to protocols and safety standards.
• Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting care plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and improve service delivery.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care measures.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
• Uphold ethical standards and maintain patient confidentiality in all aspects of care.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with nursing practices and healthcare advancements.

• Required
  
  Education:
  
  
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Required Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience in patient care management and coordination.
  • Previous experience in a hospital or acute care environment is preferred.
