TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide care for postpartum patients and their newborns. This role focuses on supporting recovery, breastfeeding, education, and emotional well-being during the post-delivery period.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns, including assessments and vital sign monitoring.
• Support mothers with breastfeeding, newborn care, and recovery from delivery.
• Monitor for signs of complications in both mother and baby and initiate appropriate interventions as needed.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, infant care, feeding techniques, and discharge planning.
• Document all patient care, observations, and education accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, lactation consultants, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure adherence to infection control protocols, safety practices, and patient-centered standards of care.

Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered RN license in applicable state(s).
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in postpartum, maternity, or women's health preferred.
• BLS certification required; NRP certification preferred.
• Strong communication, teaching, and patient support skills.
• Knowledge of newborn and maternal health, postpartum recovery, and family-centered care.
