Community-Public Health Part-Time Clinical Nursing Faculty: Tulsa, OK

Chamberlain College of Nursing seeks Part-Time Clinical Nursing Faculty interested in teaching with our BSN Nursing program in Tulsa, OK
.

You will be mentoring students in person at an inpatient clinical setting located in the Tulsa area, making connections between what students learn in the classroom and during simulations and their real-world application in patient care. By bridging this gap, we can ensure that our students are prepared for their roles as healthcare professionals and confident in their ability to provide high‑quality care.

Scheduling:

• Schedule is determined based on the course need and the clinical specialty for each 8‑week session
• Typically, clinical instructors are scheduled for 3–4 consecutive 12‑hour shifts, which occur over a period of 1–2 weeks each session
• Please note that additional dates may not be available, and clinical dates are not guaranteed for every session

Community-Public Health Nursing:

Students will demonstrate nursing skills and procedures in an outpatient healthcare center. The public/community health nurse’s role as a partner with the community to shape conditions supportive of health is emphasized through the nursing process, beginning with a community health assessment.

Qualifications

• You are encouraged to explore this opportunity if you have:
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• An unencumbered professional nursing license in the state of Oklahoma
  .
• At least two years of professional experience within the last five years in the area of instruction as a registered nurse.
• Teaching or precepting experience is preferred but not required.
• Genuine passion for nursing, education, and lifelong learning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills through subject matter expertise.
• Desire to serve students and colleagues with passion, respect and care.
• Operate with responsibility and purpose to enrich colleagues, students, and the broader community.
• Illinois RN License will be required to teach all courses (course assignments prioritized to professors licensed in Illinois)

Additional Information

Chamberlain Visiting Professor Position - Campus: compensation rate for this position is between $1,120 per assignment to $7,245 per assignment, depending on the credit hour assigned to the course.

Actual pay may be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as course type, experience and training, geographic location, licensure and certifications, market factors, departmental budgets, and responsibility.
