ACNP CVICU Nationally-Ranked Oklahoma Heart Institute

The premier Oklahoma Heart Institute (OHI)—home to one of the nation’s most recognized and comprehensive cardiac programs is seeking a highly skilled Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join its advanced Cardiovascular (CV) ICU team in Tulsa, OK on a PRN basis.

The ideal candidate must have Cardiovascular or ICU experience.

• Join an extensive team including 4 Intensivists, 7 CVICU APPs, 21 Cardiologists, 26 Cardiology APPs, 2 Advanced Heart Failure Physicians, 5 Advanced Heart Failure APPs, 3 CT Surgeons, 3 Vascular Surgeons, CVT 14 APPs, and an experienced support staff
• Inpatient-only position
• PRN 12 hours shifts
• 24 Cardiovascular ICU beds in OHI’s 104 bed referral facility
• 2–3 APPs on during day and 1–2 at night
• Physician on during the dayshift and on call at night
• Perform and become proficient in the following procedures:
  • Arterial line placement
  • Dialysis catheter insertion
  • Central venous line placement
  • Pulmonary artery (PA) catheter placement
