• Job Title: Med/Surg Registered Nurse (Med‑Surg RN) - Travel Nurse
• Location: Tulsa, OK 74104 (Tulsa, Oklahoma) - Tulsa nursing jobs / Oklahoma nursing jobs
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (March 23, 2026 - June 22, 2026)
• Shift: 12‑hour day shifts (06:45 - 19:15), 3 shifts per week
• Hours per Week: 36
• Unit: Med/Surg 6T ) - adult & geriatric medical‑surgical unit
• Patient Ratio: 1:6
• Schedule: Every other weekend required
• Float: May float to similar Med/Surg or Telemetry units within scope
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1460-$1540/week

• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience (medical‑surgical or acute care)
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred (travel nurse experience)
• Valid Oklahoma RN license or Compact RN license (required at time of submission)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (must be current at time of submission)
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Experience with Epic charting system / Epic EMR required
• Strong clinical skills in telemetry, wound care, IV management, and post‑procedure care
• Ability to work every other weekend and float as needed

• Provide high‑quality medical‑surgical nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a busy acute care setting
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions in Epic EMR accurately and timely
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform phlebotomy as needed
• Deliver wound care, manage feeding tubes, and care for surgical drains and chest tubes
• Respond to rapid response and code situations as part of the clinical team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including PT, RT, pharmacy, and social services
• Float to similar Med/Surg or Telemetry units within your scope when required
• Follow infection control policies and isolation precautions to maintain patient safety
