Medical Surgical Night Nurse
Location

This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Night shift: 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15) with every other weekend required.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a hospital setting. The nurse will be responsible for managing patient care, monitoring vital signs, and coordinating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to patients in a Medical Surgical unit.
- Monitor and interpret patient vital signs and health status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and implement patient care.
- Assist in minor procedures under medical supervision.
- Educate patients and families regarding care plans and health maintenance.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry nursing role.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required upon submission.
- Experience with Epic charting system is required.
- Preferred experience in community hospitals, LTAC, and trauma facilities (Level I or II).
- Charge nurse experience is preferred.
