Licensed Practical Nurse​/LPN Med Surg

Responsibilities

• Accountable for providing nursing care under supervision of RN or licensed independent practitioner.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the age of patients served on the assigned unit.
• Demonstrate knowledge of principles of growth and development over the life span and possess ability to collect data reflective of patient’s status.
• Participate in development, modification and implementation of plan of care in accordance with HHS standards to deliver efficient, effective, high quality patient care.
• Adhere to rules and regulations set forth by Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.

• Valid LPN Oklahoma license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into role and prior to providing direct patient care.
