Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN - Surgery Circulator for an OR position requiring an OK or compact RN license and BLS certification.

• Active OK or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of OR circulating nursing experience
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Nursys verification and primary source license verification must be completed within 30 days prior to start
• Applicants must possess a valid US Social Security Number and provide a US home address

• Work in the Operating Room as a circulating nurse
• Day shift schedule from 06:30 to 19:00
• Call and holiday work may be required
• 13-week contract assignment
• Responsible for coordinating and delivering nursing care in accordance with organizational policies
• Monitors, documents, and communicates patient condition and carries out physician and nursing orders
• Coordinates with the healthcare team for patient discharge planning
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Standard PPE and precautions must be followed
• Holiday and call coverage may be assigned as needed
• Local candidates are accepted but may be eligible for a reduced rate per facility radius rules
