Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Location: The Villages at Southern Hills, Tulsa, OK
Shift: 12 hour shifts
The Villages at Southern Hills is a skilled nursing facility specializing in long‑term and rehabilitative care. As a CNA, you will provide personal care to residents, assist the charge nurse, and contribute to a multidisciplinary team that delivers superior clinical care, rehabilitation, and wellness services.
Responsibilities- Provide personal care to residents in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort, consistent with community policy.
- Promote and support the greatest possible degree of independence for residents.
- Advise the supervising charge nurse of residents’ status at the beginning and end of the shift.
- Contribute knowledge of residents’ conditions and needs to resident care plans.
- Assist in the implementation of care plans as directed within the parameters of established policy and procedure.
- Observe and report on residents’ conditions, and document observations as required.
- Comply with procedures for safe lifting and/or safe transfer of residents per established policies and procedures.
- Perform moderate to heavy lifting as needed.
- Ensure that equipment is clean and functional.
- Perform incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks to maintain a clean, hazard‑free environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- State certification as a nursing assistant.
- Complete familiarity with the duties of a certified nursing assistant.
