Job DescriptionIndividual within this job classification is accountable for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting care activities in accordance with OSUMC standards to deliver efficient, effective, and quality patient care. The Registered Nurse (RN) must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate for the age of the patients served on the assigned unit. The RN must understand principles of growth and development over the life span, assess data reflective of patient status, interpret information to identify each patient’s needs relative to age‑specific requirements.
The RN plans for patient care, including development, modification, and implementation of the care plan in accordance with OSUMC standards, while adhering to Patient Care policies and procedures and the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.
- Education:
2 years, Associate Degree - Current Oklahoma or Multi‑state RN License
- BLS
- ACLS within 90 days
