Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

This assignment is ideal for Med-Surg nurses who are comfortable managing full patient loads and working across a variety of diagnoses including post-procedural, cardiac, and general medical patients.

• 13-week contract
• Night shift 3x12s (18:45–07:15)
• Patient ratio: 1:6
• Unit census: ~24 patients
• Weekend requirement: every other weekend (6 shifts per 6 weeks)
• Floating required to like MS/Tele units
• 1 position available

• Provide care for Med-Surg patients across a variety of diagnoses
• Administer medications including heparin and PCA
• Manage IV therapy, PICC lines, and blood product administration
• Provide respiratory support including oxygen therapy and HFNC
• Monitor telemetry and respond to cardiac changes
• Perform wound care and manage surgical drains
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care
• Document patient care in Epic EMR

• Acute care hospital setting
• Med/Surg and MS/Tele unit
• Adult and geriatric population
• Epic charting system REQUIRED

• Minimum 1 year Med-Surg RN experience REQUIRED
• Travel experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS REQUIRED (in hand at submission)
• Epic experience REQUIRED
• Must be comfortable with 1:6 patient ratios
• OK or Compact RN license REQUIRED (in hand at submission)
