Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room; ER​/Trauma

Overview

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) for an Emergency Room (ER)/Trauma position.

• Assess and triage patients:
  Perform initial evaluations, prioritize based on severity, and monitor vital signs.
• Provide emergency care:
  Administer medications, fluids, wound care, and perform life-saving interventions like CPR and ACLS.
• Collaborate with healthcare team:
  Work with physicians and staff to develop care plans, assist with diagnostics, and communicate patient status.
• Monitor and document:
  Continuously observe patient conditions and accurately record assessments and treatments in the EHR.
• Communicate with patients and families:
  Explain diagnoses and procedures, offering support and advocacy.
• Maintain safety and infection control:
  Follow protocols, use PPE, and ensure a sterile environment.
• Manage crises:
  Handle emergencies efficiently, prioritize care, and stay calm under pressure.
• Discharge planning:
  Provide instructions for follow-up care and educate patients on health management.
• Teamwork and mentorship:
  Support staff, mentor new team members, and ensure coordinated patient care.

• Experience in ER nursing and trauma care
• Ability to perform assessments, emergency procedures, and documentation accurately
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
