Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical/Telemetry

Schedule:

Shift: Nights; option of 36 or 48 hours/week Weekends:
Every other weekend required (6 weekend shifts every 6 weeks)

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year RN experience
• Valid OK or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• BLS certification in hand
• NIHSS certification preferred
• EMR experience with Epic required
• Experience in MS/Telemetry and telemetry monitoring
• Skills in IV access/maintenance, post-procedure care, chest tube and feeding tube care, dysrhythmia recognition, oxygen therapy, and wound care.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a medical-surgical/telemetry setting.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data to recognize and respond to dysrhythmias.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered, including heparin gtt as permitted.
• Perform patient assessments and manage post-procedural care following interventions such as catheterization and angiograms.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and facilitate care coordination.
• Utilize rapid response and code teams as necessary during emergencies.

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation: 20 hours
• Pre-approved time off: two (per contract)
• Tier 2 travel compliance
• RTO (return-to-office/time-off) must be listed at time of submittal
