Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Nurse for our Medical-Surgical unit. The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional clinical judgment, compassion, and efficiency in delivering patient-centered care. This role requires a strong understanding of medical-surgical procedures, patient safety, and the ability to respond effectively in urgent situations.

• Provide high-quality nursing care to acutely ill, injured, or recovering patients.
• Perform regular patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and change dressings per protocols.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Coordinate individualized care plans and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies, clinical guidelines, and safety standards.
• Function independently under supervision while effectively communicating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and unit-based goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned to ensure effective patient care.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program.
• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in high-stress environments.

• Minimum of 2 years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience within the past 2 years.
• Advanced certifications (e.g., ACLS) preferred.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) – required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – preferred.
