• Communicates with patients regarding physician/provider instructions, diagnostic procedures and results, medication changes and disease processes.
• Identifies and assesses patient problems and returns calls within 48 hours for triage messages.
• Writes orders for diagnostics and procedures.
• Reviews and understands laboratory testing basic ECG knowledge and addresses abnormal values before the patient has a diagnostic test or procedure requiring pre‑screening laboratory testing.
• Manages patients utilizing the anti‑coagulation protocol guidelines and documents utilization appropriately in EPIC.

Job Requirements:

• Associates Degree in Nursing
• Current ACLS
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care

• Previous cardiology nursing experience
