Registered Nurse – Cath Lab

Schedule:

3 x 12-hour shifts (Monday – Friday)

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year nursing experience
• Critical care experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Valid RN license (OK or Compact)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from catheterization procedures.
• Monitor patients for any complications or adverse reactions post-sedation and anesthesia.
• Manage groin site and hemostasis following sheath removal.
• Administer IV medications, including vasopressors, and perform hemodynamic monitoring.
• Recognize and manage arrhythmias and perform 12-lead ECGs.
• Assist with interventional cardiac procedures as needed.

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation: 40 hours onsite
• RTO must be listed at time of submission
• COVID-19 and flu vaccine status unknown
• Local travel radius: 75 miles; local rule not accepted
• Modules completed onsite during orientation; non-billable (average 4–6 hours)
