American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Medical/Surgical night shift position requiring at least 1-2 years of experience and previous travel experience preferred.

• Medical/Surgical unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Option to work 36 or 48 hours per week (3x12 or 4x12)
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required

• Active RN license (Standard or Compact) required
• Current BLS certification required and must be in hand
• 1-2 years of RN experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

• Previous travel nursing experience is preferred; first-time traveler eligibility should be confirmed prior to applying
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• Travel pairs or groups will not be accepted
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
