American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Telemetry (Stepdown/Intermediate Care) position at a Level I Trauma Center, requiring at least 2 years of experience and night shift availability.

• 28-bed cardiac telemetry stepdown/intermediate care unit at a Level I Trauma Center
• Cares for all cardiac needs including post-op care, serving patients of all ages
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4–6
• Unit is supported by PCTs, a healthcare unit coordinator, monitor techs, and virtual sitter monitoring
• Night shift: 18:30–07:00
• 13-week contract

• Active RN license (Standard or Compact) currently in hand
• BLS certification required (must be AHA-issued)
• NIH Certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• US Social Security Number required
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Two professional references required
• Skills checklist required

• Implements and monitors patient care plans, communicates patient condition, and carries out physician and nursing orders
• Acts as primary coordinator across disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care
• Assesses and coordinates patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team
• Nurses work collaboratively in teams with PCT and unit secretary support
• A radius rule applies — local candidates may be considered but at a different pay rate; the specific mileage radius varies
• COVID vaccination is not required for this position
