Job Location:

Griffin Memorial Hospital, Norman, Oklahoma. Classified as a full‑time position with a 12‑hour rotating shift schedule (6:30pm–7:00am). Shift differential and holiday pay provided.

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care in an adult inpatient psychiatric setting under the direction of registered nurses or licensed physicians.
• Conduct nursing assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments prescribed by authorized providers.
• Monitor patients with severe emotional disorders, psychiatric illness, or substance abuse; perform crisis intervention.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and other nursing staff.
• Prepare and distribute medication on the unit.
• Participate in case management and provide patient education.

• LPN III – valid permanent Oklahoma LPN license + 2 years practical nursing experience, or LPN license under eNLC + 2 years experience.
• LPN II – valid Oklahoma LPN license + 1 year experience, or LPN license under eNLC + 1 year experience.
• LPN I – valid Oklahoma LPN license, or LPN license under eNLC.
• Strong commitment to patient well‑being and safety.

• Physical examination required: ability to lift/carry up to 50lb and push/pull a maximum of 25lb.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel as required.
• Drug and alcohol pre‑employment testing required; placement contingent on negative urinalysis.
• Work hours include nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

• Annual salary $50,500.00 – $60,000.00.
