Job Summary
Southern Hills Rehab Center is seeking an exceptional Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)/Registered Nurse (RN) to join our talented team of healthcare professionals. As a key member of our leadership team, the ADON/RN will play a vital role in providing exceptional nursing care to our residents while promoting a culture of compassion, respect, and dignity.
Responsibilities- Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and programs.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting staff development and retention.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of patient care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance resident outcomes.
- Develop and manage the nursing department's budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and effective allocation of funds.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, reports, and charts, adhering to established guidelines and standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of QI projects and programs.
- Current RN license in the state of Oklahoma.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN, with a strong background in long-term care or rehabilitation nursing.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and staff.
- Knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and standards, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a long-term care setting.
