RN Nurse
Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Unit (Nights)
This position involves working night shifts, specifically 4x12-hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15, with the option of 36 or 48 hours per week. Every other weekend coverage is required.
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 24-bed medical surgical unit with a renal emphasis. The ideal candidate will have experience in med-surg nursing and be comfortable floating to like units as needed. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care to adults and geriatric populations.
Provide compassionate and efficient nursing care to patients in a medical surgical unit.
Administer medications and perform treatments according to established protocols.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including IV teams, physical therapy, and pharmacy, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Monitor patient progress and report changes in their condition to the healthcare team.
Utilize isolation precautions and participate in rapid response or code team activities as needed.
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required; 2 years preferred.
BLS certification required.
Experience with Epic charting system is necessary.
A valid RN license in Oklahoma or compact state is required at the time of submission.
