* Tulsa Spine & Specialty Hospital (TSSH) specializes in surgical services, diagnostic imaging and pain management. TSSH offers state-of-the-art MRI, computed tomography and myelography technology. TSSH offers a variety of services, such as anesthesia, ear, nose & throat, general surgery, GYN, GYN/oncology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, pain management, plastic surgery, podiatry, radiology and spine care.

Learn About A Day in the Life of a Med Surg RN:

* The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

* Responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care for medical/surgical patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards.

* Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.

* Serve in a resource role when oriented and as directed.

* Support the organization's vision and mission.

* Utilize knowledge of patient age and cultural diversity into the provision of patient care.

* Contribute to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.

Job Requirements:

* Associate's in nursing (ADN) or Diploma RN from an accredited school of nursing.

* Current RN License or Compact License, as deemed by the OK State Board of Nursing.

* BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

* Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 60 days of hire.

* Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of hire.

* Six months previous nursing experience.

Preferred

Job Requirements:

* Bachelors in nursing (BSBN) from an accredited school of nursing.
