Registered Nurse - Cardiac Specialty Unit

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night Shift: 4x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15), with weekend requirements based on unit needs.

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses for a 30-bed cardiac specialty unit. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in telemetry and cardiac care, capable of managing a patient load of 6 individuals during the night shift.

Responsibilities:

• Manage patients with cardiac conditions and administer prescribed medications.
• Utilize telemetry systems to monitor patient status and respond to changes.
• Administer non-titratable cardiac drips including Cardizem, Dobutamine, Milrinone, and Amiodarone.
• Initiate appropriate responses in emergencies without the responsibility for cardioversion.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams for comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license (Oklahoma or Compact) at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a telemetry or cardiac unit.
• Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Experience with EPIC documentation system preferred.
• Familiarity with diuretics, anticoagulants, inotropes, and rate-controlling medications.
