CVICU Nights Unit Registered Nurse Opportunity

The CVICU Nights Unit is seeking experienced registered nurses to provide specialized care during night shifts. This role involves supporting post-operative cardiac patients and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer advanced cardiac care to post-operative CVICU patients, adhering to clinical protocols.
• Monitor patient status continuously, responding promptly to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and modify care plans.
• Manage invasive devices, including ventilators, IV lines, and monitors, ensuring safety and accuracy.
• Document patient progress accurately and maintain detailed clinical records.
• Float to MSICU, Neuro ICU, or Burn ICU as needed, ensuring seamless patient care coverage.

Qualifications:

• Possess minimum of 2 years of recent CVICU experience.
• Hold current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Possess a valid OK or Compact RN license, or Allied license if applicable.
• Demonstrate the ability to float effectively across multiple units within scope.
• Capable of working night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, including every other weekend.
• Exhibit strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
