Description:
Looking for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Cath Lab.
Candidate should have at least 1 year of experience.
Travelers welcome to apply.
Shifts are 4x10 hours per week.
Overnight, weekend, and holiday call required.
Electrophysiology (EP) experience is a plus.
BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications must be available at the time of submission.
The ideal candidate will have experience in activated clotting time (ACT), angioplasty, arrhythmia induction, cardiac ablation, and other cardiac procedures.
Skills should include intravenous (IV) vasopressors, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, and cardiac stent placement.
Familiarity with isolation precautions and infection prevention is essential.
An understanding of patient care for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics will be beneficial.
The daily census will involve a range of 25-30 cases per day.
Candidates must be prepared to float to similar units if necessary.
