Cardiac Cath Lab/EP Registered Nurse
Seeking a highly skilled registered nurse for a Cath Lab/EP position providing expert patient care during cardiovascular procedures. This role involves working days with a focus on electrophysiology and catheterization lab support.
Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments and prepare patients for cardiovascular procedures.
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations and electrophysiology procedures.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to any intra-procedure changes.
- Administer medications and manage patient sedation as directed.
- Document procedures accurately and maintain detailed patient records.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure compliance with licensing requirements.
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in good standing, with an active OK or Compact licensure.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or EP setting.
- Possess BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications, maintained and presented at submission.
- Ability to work 4x10 hour shifts, including weekends, holidays, and call hours.
- Demonstrate proficiency in cardiac procedures and patient monitoring.
- Experience with EP procedures and catheterization lab processes is a plus.
