Registered Nurse – Endoscopy​/GI

Endoscopy/GI Nurse

Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic and gastrointestinal procedures. Collaborate with medical teams to ensure safe and efficient patient experiences from pre-op to post-procedure recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient care during endoscopy, pre-op, PACU, and procedure phases.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes with appropriate interventions.
• Prepare and operate advanced endoscopy equipment, including ERCP/EUS, ION/Bronchoscopy, and related scopes.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure procedural accuracy and patient safety.
• Document patient assessments, procedures, and outcomes in compliance with healthcare standards.
• Assist in maintaining sterile field and uphold infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active and valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Possess at least 1 year of recent nursing experience in endoscopy or GI procedures.
• Have current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
• Familiarity with advanced endoscopy scopes and equipment such as Van Gogh, Cryo, and ION.
• Demonstrate the ability to float to similar units as needed, with flexibility to adapt.
• Ability to work 5 days a week, with call requirements including weekends.
