What You'll Do
As a Registered Nurse I, you'll assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care while following hospital standards and unit policies.
Responsibilities include:
- Assess patients and develop individualized plans of care
- Provide nursing care based on each patient's age, condition, cultural needs, and psychosocial factors
- Monitor patient condition and progress toward established goals
- Accurately document assessments, treatments, interventions, and outcomes
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment and ongoing care
- Coordinate referrals and resources to support successful patient discharge
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Organize and prioritize patient-care responsibilities
- Exercise appropriate independent clinical judgment
- Participate in continuing education, in-services, and performance-improvement activities
- Maintain professional and effective communication with patients, families, coworkers, and hospital leadership
What You'll Need
Education
- Graduate of a state-approved professional nursing program
- Nursing diploma or degree
Licensure
- Valid State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) License OR
- Valid Multi-State/Compact RN License
Experience
- Up to 6 months of related nursing experience
- New graduate RNs are encouraged to apply
