We are searching for a Hematology or Oncology Nurse, to function as a key member of our multidisciplinary cancer care team and to serve as an advocate and educator for cancer patients, from diagnosis through end of active treatment of cellular therapy.
The Cellular Therapy Program Coordinator, RN is responsible for coordinating all aspects of care for patients receiving CAR-T and other immune effector cell (IEC) therapies within an outpatient oncology setting. The coordinator serves as the primary clinical and operational liaison among patents, caregivers, providers, infusion services, apheresis facilities, pharmacy, manufacturers, and ancillary departments.
This position provides patient education, treatment coordination, scheduling oversight, product tracking, and post-infusion monitoring support while ensuring compliance with institutional policies, REMS requirements, accreditation standards, and manufacturer guidelines. The coordinator plays a critical role in facilitating timely treatment and ensuring seamless care throughout the cellular therapy continuum.
Supports and adheres to the Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
Qualifications: Graduated from an accredited program for professional nursing education, BSN preferred. Five years’ or greater of experience required, preferably in an oncology environment. Current or pending oncology certification preferred. ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy Certification required or to be obtained upon hire to position. Experience and knowledge of the purpose and use of medications in the treatment of cancer required. RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state.
Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification. Must maintain continuing education requirements.
Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
