Key Responsibilities - Quality Inspection & Assurance- Conduct supplier submissions and product first article inspections (FAI), read and interpret technical drawings and specifications using digital calipers, thread gages and other basic measuring tools. Log results in Excel and ERP systems. Hands‑on PPAP experience is a plus.
- Maintain daily logs and quality records. Ability to identify non-conformances and initiate reviews, corrective actions and root cause analysis when necessary.
- Perform product evaluations for conformance to specifications throughout the inspection process.
- Organize, label, and maintain parts in the master parts library, including capturing and archiving images for easy identification and retrieval.
- Drafting, creating, revising and controlling documentation such as packaging instructions and procedures under guidance.
- Process Return Goods Authorizations (RGA’s) for both customer returns and vendor claims.
- Perform simple revisions using AutoCAD LT (training available for motivated learners).
- Use MS Excel to create inspection reports, analyze quality data, and perform functions such as VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, sorting/filtering, and Pareto analysis.
- Create and interpret quality‑related documents including inspection reports and standard work instructions.
- Support troubleshooting and testing of components; hands‑on experience with electronics or electricity is a plus.
- Flexibility to assist with various tasks and projects assigned by management.
- May be assigned to special tasks and / or projects as needed by management.
- Associate degree, bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in quality assurance or inspection.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and in a team.
Pay Range30.60 - 37.40
