Job Summary

Chart Industries is seeking a Quality Engineer to support the nonconformance and CAPA program, coordinate employee training, perform equipment validations, maintain IMTE calibration, and formulate quality procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the nonconformance and CAPA program.
  • Coordinate the performance and completion of required employee training through Chart’s Master Control program.
  • Coordinate and perform equipment validations in preparation for use in production.
  • Ensure inspection, measuring, and test equipment (IMTE) used at the Chart Tulsa facility is calibrated and maintained current.
  • Design, install, and evaluate quality process sampling systems, procedures, and statistical techniques.
  • Assist in the formulation of quality procedures and plans, and recommend revision of specifications when indicated.
  • Interface with engineering, production, customers, and suppliers on quality‑related issues.
  • Develop inspection methods to analyze product quality.
  • Improve product quality by making recommendations for change.
  • Work with relevant teams and departments to improve products.
  • Ensure products adhere to company and industry quality standards.
  • Brainstorm ideas to create solutions for identified problems.
  • Formulate a strategic plan to increase productivity in the business.
  • Document results and findings after inspections are carried out.
  • Implement a working system to ensure conformity and accuracy in the production process.
Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of prior experience in quality engineering or a related field.
