Quality Assurance Specialist
The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for ensuring products meet company and customer quality standards by supporting quality systems, conducting audits, investigating non-conformances, and driving continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and design specifications.
- Conduct internal process and Quality Management System (QMS) audits.
- Investigate quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Develop and maintain quality procedures, work instructions, and inspection documentation.
- Analyze quality data and prepare reports on non-conforming materials and process performance.
- Support production teams by troubleshooting quality issues and recommending improvements.
- Assist with customer quality requirements and specifications.
- Associate degree in Engineering or related field preferred, or equivalent Quality/Engineering experience.
- Minimum 3 years of Quality Assurance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Knowledge of ISO/API quality standards and auditing practices.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- ASQ Certified Quality Auditor certification is a plus.
- Experience with rubber molding, composites, or high-volume manufacturing is a plus.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 20 pounds as needed.
- Must have sufficient near vision for inspection activities.
